Notes to the Editor:
About Cassandra Syndrome: Hailing from Maryland, Cassandra Syndrome is a strikingly unique act comprised of Irene Jericho on vocals, Chris Kackley on lead guitar, Jen Tonon on rhythm guitar, Joe Cariola on bass and Jay Jericho on percussion. This passionate, engaging group blends elements of metal and opera to scathingly good effect. The band is currently touring to support their album ‘Of Patriots and Tyrants.’ Praised by reviewers around the globe for their dramatic, energetic music and socially conscious lyrics, Cassandra Syndrome remains a metal-based call to arms.
About White Shadow: White Shadow's particular brand of industrial rock cannot be easily likened to the work of others in their genre. Because of this, they easily fit alongside artists in other genres such as metal, dance, alternative, and the avante garde. Formed in 2006, the group has undergone many changes as they continually polish and refine their sound. The band mixes the realms of theatrical vocals and soundscapes of futurepop/goth with blistering guitars of metal, all while combining it with eccentric, danceable synth textures and subconcious bass grooves. With a stage performance infamous for its energy and theatrics, White Shadow is not a band to miss.
About Dharmata 101: Dharmata 101 has gone through myriad stylistic & organizational changes since its inception back in 1997 by frontman/composer JSun Bruner. What began as deeply programmed electronic rock music permutated into hard electro & synthpop through the years, before coming back to its synth rock roots. Currently, D101 is performing as an exciting, not-to-be-missed theatric one-man act live supporting the intensely spiritual rock opera, "The Five Shackles" (due to be released in late 2010 on Radio-Active-Music)
About Machines of Living Death: Hailing from Baltimore, Machines Of Living Death creates “cybercore,” a fusion of industrial and extreme metal with the grooves of drum and bass. Many will compare them with phrases like “Skinny Puppy meets Slayer” or “Fear Factory meets Orgy”, but listening to them unmasks a sound that is much more complex, and much more cohesive then the typical attempts to merge metal, industrial, and electronica. M.O.L.D. maintains enough headbanging accuracy, synth-etic prowess, and bone-crushing stompability to satisfy the most jaded rivethead to the death and black metal fan. http://www.machinesoflivingdeath.com
